Having undertaken a commission of a water jug for the Haberdashers' Company and then a flagon in 1991 for Lichfield Cathedral, the success of his elegant designs led this Company commission, which in turn led to the commission for the Silver Trust in Downing Street in 1993, and further commissions'.

(In fact there are 3 similar jugs at 10 Downing Street made in 1992,1994 and 1995).

Other similar examples can be found in the Pearson Silver Collection; the Keatley Trust and the Middle Temple. Ove a 12 year period more than a dozen jugs were made.
